Suppliers set a confidential price to the platform. Your account sees a single sell price per stone, in US dollars, per stone rather than per carat, calculated from a documented markup. The price shown at the moment you reserve is snapshotted; later supplier changes do not alter a reservation or order.
Reservations and stock
The catalog reflects supplier sheets that are refreshed about hourly plus every reservation and order recorded on the platform. A stone marked available is available to reserve; it is not a guarantee of physical possession until the supplier confirms your reservation, which is why the order step comes after confirmation.
